From Neversoft, the team behind the Tony Hawk games, comes Gun! In 1870's America, take on the guise of Colton White as he journeys through an authentically dangerous Wild West. This free-roaming adventure sees White journeying on horseback from Montana to Kansas in a bid to find out the truth behind his past. Along the way, you're sure to find yourself in some scrapes, but luckily White is up to the task - you can jump from your horse onto a stage coach to defend it from marauding attackers, or shoot bandits' horses out from beneath them. Even the relative comfort of a bar is no guarantee of safety either, since there's always the possibility of getting dragged into a brawl! Use knives or tomahawks to defend yourself in close quarters combat, or use a bow and arrow to pick off your enemies from afar. Of course, you can also use firearms - rifles, shotguns and pistols can all be acquired, and White is such a wicked shot he can shoot a weapon straight out of a bad guy's hands! You can also target specific parts of an enemy's body - useful if you don't want to finish off your opponent too quickly. With side missions and even the chance to indulge in a little Poker in between the showdowns, Gun provides a rootin' tootin' depiction of the old West.
